New Zealand's guaranteed gold medals in both the mens and women's individual pursuit at the Oceania track cycling champs in Invercargill tonight.
New Zealand's world championship medallists Jesse Sergent and Alison Shanks posted the fastest times in qualifying this morning.
Sargent will ride off against compatriot Peter Latham in the men's 4000 metres individual pursuit.
Shanks will ride off against fellow New Zealand team pursuit member Jaime Nielsen in the women's 3000 metres individual pursuit, having posted a qualifying time eight seconds faster than Nielsen.
