Australia's cricket captain Michael Clarke has hailed the "amazing" talents of teenage pace bowler Pat Cummins after the debutant helped secure a tense series-tying win over South Africa this morning in Johannesburg.

After being humiliated in Cape Town the Australians came back to reach a Johannesburg record fourth innings total of 310 in rapidly dwindling light in the last session.

Cummins took six wickets in South Africa's second innings then made an unbeaten 13, which included the winning boundary.

Clarke says the 18-year-old's man of the match award could be the first of many as he could be one of the greats.
