Another England coach resigns in continuing RWC fallout

9:29 am on 25 November 2011

There's been another resignation in the wake of England's catastrophic Rugby World Cup campaign.

England's attack coach Brian Smith has resigned a day after his position was fatally undermined by anonymous comments from several players in their leaked "confidential" appraisals of the team's woeful campaign.

In keeping with the continuing chaos at Twickenham, news of Smith's resignation initially appeared on the RFU's Twitter page, only to be removed shortly afterwards.

Meanwhile a "shattered" chief executive Rob Andrew has admitted he should have given his departed manager Martin Johnson more support, at the same time insisting he won't be resigning himself.

And centre Mike Tindall's appeal against his 50-thousand dollar fine and ejection from the England squad has been moved to a secret location and it's not known when the result will be released.
