35 year old Mark Webber led a Red Bull one-two in the Brazilian Grand Prix this morning, celebrating his first victory of the year in the last race of the Formula One season.

The Australian, a close second to his teammate Sebastian Vettel in the German's record breaking 15th pole position of the season, took the lead approaching the halfway mark when Vettel's car developed a gearbox problem.

McLaren's Jenson Button took third place to secure second place in the overall championship ahead of Webber.

The Brazilian veteran Rubens Barrichello waved to the crowd on his slowing down lap after what could be his final race in Formula One.
