Gabba wicket will help Aussies

The Australian cricket team will be looking to extend its unbeaten run at the Gabba to 23 matches when they take on New Zealand in the first test starting tomorrow.

The West Indies were the last team to beat the Australians in Brisbane in 1988.

Australia has 16 wins and 6 draws in its past 22 matches there.

Australian batsman Michael Hussey says the bouncy Gabba pitch gives the team a big hometown advantage.
