Knee injury to keep Breakers veteran out for two weeks

6:44 pm on 1 December 2011

The Breakers guard C J Bruton will miss the side's next two Australian National Basketball League matches, following medical advice to rest him and allow a kee injury time to recover.

An MRI scan has shown the 35-year-old Australian veteran has a tear to his patella tendon in his right knee.

Bruton hasn't trained for the past week and and a half and has limited court time.

It means Bruton will miss tomorrow night's game against the third placed Melbourne Tigers at the North Shore events centre and next week's against the Gold Coast Blaze.
