Good start for NZ women at Perth worlds

The New Zealand women's match racing team has had a great start to the ISAF Sailing World Championships with three wins from four races off Perth.

Stephanie Hazard, Jenna Hansen and Susannah Pyatt face 10 more races in the first round robin but wins over Argentina, China and the Canadians is a good start, with the only loss coming to Finland in the third match.

Match-racing will feature in the Olympic Sailing Regatta for the first time ever in 2012 - eight qualifying places will be awarded of the 12 available in Perth this month.

The men's 470, women's boardsailing, Finn and Radial fleets beging racing on Monday.
