New Zealand sailors have made a solid start to the World Championships off Fremantle with the Paul Snow-Hansen and Jason Saunders leading the way.
The pair scored a win and a 9th to be 5th overall after the first day of the men's 470.
Sara Winther is 7th in the Laser Radial, Dan Slater 13th in the Finn, while the women's matchracing crew of Stephanie Hazard, Jenna Hansen and Susannah Pyatt have had 4 wins and a loss.
The other crews compete next week.
