The world record holder for the womens marathon, Paula Radcliffe, has become only the third British track and field athlete to be selected for five Olympics.

The 37-year-old failed to do herself justice at the last two Games in Athens and Beijing, and, barring injury, will become the first Briton to compete in three Olympic marathons.
