Aussies have one eye on the Indians

With the Black Caps seemingly under control, the Australian cricketers now have one eye on the series against India over the New Year.

The Australians have arrived in Hobart ready to knock over the New Zealanders again in the second and final test, following their comprehensive nine-wicket victory in Brisbane on Sunday.

With a number of players set to come back from injury following this series, fast bowler Mitchell Starc, who took just two wickets in Brisbane, says he's keen to cement his place in the squad.

Australia is likely to field the same team in the second test.

Australia play a four-test series against India starting in Melbourne on Boxing Day.
