Wayne Smith sticking with Chiefs but keen on more Test rugby

New assistant Chiefs Super Rugby coach Wayne Smith has moved to - somewhat - dampen speculation he's looking to take up the vacant England job - or any other international role.

The former All Blacks head coach and assistant to Graham Henry in the recent World Cup win is on a two-year deal - but Smith'll only admit to sticking around the Chiefs for one season.

He says he's in Hamilton for the year and the Chiefs may want to get rid of him after that, there's a review process as in every such job and the review process is a two-way street.

But Smith says he's made no secret of wanting to coach Test match rugby again, although moving to another country right away with his All Blacks knowledge wouldn't be right.
