The first 4 boats are within half a mile of each other with Team New Zealand's boat Camper in 4th place as the Volvo Ocean Race fleet rounds the tip of Africa on the second leg from Cape Town to Abu Dhabi.
Camper is just point four of a mile behind leader Groupama of France.
There are a number of low pressure systems around the southern tip of Africa and the crews are working hard to find the best track before heading into the Indian Ocean.
