The Wellington Phoenix have risen to fourth place in the A-league after a 2-nil win over the competition leaders Brisbane Roar last night in Dunedin.
Paul Ifill opened the scoring after 27 minutes and Nick Ward sealed the result nine minutes from the end.
It's the third straight loss for Brisbane since their record-breaking 36-match unbeaten run ended, but they're still sharing the lead with Central Coast Mariners.
