A New Zealand women's squad with only two changes from the side that won a bronze medal at hockey's Champions Trophy tournament in Amsterdam earlier this year, has been chosen for the 2012 version in Argentina.

The tournament begins late next month and Black Sticks coach Mark Hager says it'll be their last chance to assess themselves against the leading sides in the world ahead of the London Olympics.

North Harbour's Rhiannon Dennison and Midlands player Samantha Charlton replace Anna Thorpe and Ella Gunson from the Amsterdam squad.

The Black Sticks have a strong buildup to the tournament competing at a Four Nations Tournament in Argentina against Korea, Great Britain and Argentina and then have practice matches against Japan and China before the tournament starts in Rosaria on January 28th.

In Champions Trophy pool matches the Black Sticks will play world number two Argentina first up, followed by eighth ranked Korea and third ranked Germany.
