Blake Signal of Stokes Valley and Alvin Gardiner of Elmwood have scored a couple of big upsets in the knockout stage of the men's pair at the National Lawn Bowls Championship in Auckland.
The pair beat Black Jacks Richard Girvan and Danny Delany in the round of 16 and then former international Gary Lawson and his partner Chris Le Lievre in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile Mandy Boyd of Johnsonville will play Sandra Keith of Leeston in the final of the women's singles on Wednesday.
