Gary Lawson has been beaten in the second round of post section play in the men's singles at the national bowls championships in Auckland.
Lawson has fallen to to the young Adam McIlroy from Clark's Beach as the field was reduced to 32 competitiors
Post section play in the women's pairs and men's singles is scheduled to be completed today.
