Former Liverpool and Everton defender Gary Ablett dies

Gary Ablett, the only player to win English football's FA Cup with both Liverpool and Everton, has died at the age of 46 after a battle against non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Ablett, a defender played more than 100 games for both Merseyside clubs and Birmingham.

He also managed Stockport.

He was diagnosed was the disease 16 months ago.
