India are 53 for one at tea on the third day of the second Test against Australia in Sydney, still trailing the hosts by 415 runs after Australia declared its first innings at 659 for four.

Australia captain Michael Clarke was unbeaten on 329 and Michael Hussey not out 150, the pair putting on 334 for the fifth wicket to give the hosts a 468 run first innings lead.

Clarke's score is the highest test score at the SCG and the highest individual score in a test between Australia and India.

It's the fourth highest score by an Australian in test cricket.

West Indian Brian Lara holds the record for the highest individual score in Test cricket, making 400 not out against England in 2004.
