There's been success for New Zealand's tennis players in doubles matches on both sides of the Tasman.
National men's number one Michael Venus and Davis Cup team-mate Dan King Turner came back from a set down to make the doubles quarter-finals at Auckland's Heineken Open, the wildcard pairing beating Filipino Treat Huey and American Scott Lipsky in a super tiebreak in last night's late match.
Venus and King-Turner looked headed for the exit but came back to win 4-6 7-5 10-8.
And New Zealand women's number one Marina Erakovic is through to the doubles semi-finals at the Hobart International.
Erakovic and her Taiwanese doubles partner Chuang Chia-Jung, the third seeds, beat Simona Halep of Romania and Slovakian Janette Husarova 6-3 6-4 in their quarter-final in the Tasmanian capital.
Former New Zealand No.2 turned Australian Sacha Jones is out of the Hobart singles. Jones blew a 5-2 lead in the first set against Israeli Shahar Peer to lose 7-6 6-4.
