NZ pair upset fourth seeds

The dream run for the New Zealand doubles pairing of Michael Venus and Dan King-Turner continues at the Heineken Tennis Open in Auckland.

Cheered on by a sold-out crowd, Venus and King-Turner stunned fourth seeds Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico and German Christopher Kas 7-5 7-6 to reach the semi-finals.

King-Turner says it doesn't matter who they face this evening, though it's likely to be the top-seeded Austrian combination.

New Zealand's Marina Erakovic and her Taiwanese doubles partner face an Australian/Ukrainian pair in the semi-finals at the Hobart International tonight, and Erakovic has drawn a qualifier in the first round of next week's Australian Open.
