The Philippines will field one of their smallest Olympic delegations ever at this year's London Games with just five athletes to represent the world's 12th most populous nation.

The country of 94 million people fielded 15 athletes in Beijing in 2008 and 14 in Athens four years earlier with little impact.

Boxer Mark Anthony Barriga has qualified for London on merit, while each country must send a male and female competitor to athletics and swimming regardless of performances.
