Sri Lanka fall for fifth straight time in one day internationals

The South African cricketers have condemned Sri Lanka to their fifth successive one-day international defeat with a five-wicket win in the second one-dayer in East London.

Sri Lanka posted 236 for six in their innings which the home side overtook with eight balls to spare.

Sri Lanka have lost 12 out of 18 one-day internationals since contesting the World Cup final against India in April including the last three matches of their previous series, against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates, and the first of their current five-match series.
