Napier will host the first Crusaders 'home' Super Rugby game of the season against the Chiefs on March the 9th.
After losing 700-thousand dollars in last year's earthquake-affected season, when the Crusaders weren't able to play even on game in Christchurch, the decision's been made with an eye on the bottom line.
The Crusaders CEO Hamish Riach says that in an ideal world they would have loved to have played
this match in Timaru or Nelson, but financially it only made sense to play at Napier's McLean Park for the significant extra financial return.
