The New Zealand women's hockey team has drawn 2-2 with hosts Argentina in their opening match at the Champions Trophy in Rosario.
The Black Sticks led 2-0 midway through the second half following goals from Stacey Michelsen and Sam Harrison, but then conceded two goals with Argentina drawing level in the last five minutes when New Zealand had a player in the sin-bin.
In other results on the opening day, Germany beat South Korea 4-2 in the same pool as New Zealand, while in the other pool the Netherlands beat China 3-1 and Great Britain beat Japan 3-0.
