Coroner can't say Wales manager intended to kill himself

The coroner at the inquest into the death of the Wales football manager Gary Speed has said he can't be satisfied he intended to kill himself.

Speed's widow Louise said his job had put strain on their marriage, and she told how they'd had a row the night before he was found dead.

Four days earlier 42 year old Speed has sent his wife a text talking "in terms of taking his life", though he also mentioned "moving forward".

But the coroner said "the evidence does not sufficiently determine whether Speed's death by hanging was international or accidental", and he left no note.
