India end their losing streak, square T20 series

India has beaten Australia by eight wickets in the second Twenty20 cricket international at the MCG, to square the two-match series one-all.

Australia suffered four run-outs in their total of 131 before India ended their losing streak which included all four Tests and Wednesday night's opening T20 clash.

With only one run needed off the final over, Clint McKay bowled three dot balls before Gautam Gambhir hit a four to claim victory for the tourists with two deliveries to spare.

Gambhir was unbeaten on 56.
