India breakthrough for win over Aussies

The Indian cricketers chalked up their first win over Australia this summer with a last gasp win in their one day tri-series match in Adelaide last night.

India paced their run chase for 270 well, but they needed 10 runs off the final three balls.

Their captain MS Dhoni stepped up with a six, before being caught on the boundary. But a no-ball was called and India won with two balls to spare.

Man of the match was the Indian opebing batsman Gautam Gambhir who replaced the rested Sachin Tendulkar and anchored the run chase with 92.

Australia and India have won two of their three games while Sri Lanka have two losses.
