South Africa admit they need to do some homework on Guptill

South Africa will be doing plenty of homework on opener Martin Guptill after he guided the Black Caps to a six wicket win in the opening Twenty20 match in Wellington on Friday night.

Guptill made 78 not out off 55 balls as New Zealand chased down South Africa's total of 147 to win with four balls to spare.

South Africa captain AB de Villiers hinted they may have underestimated Guptill, who's been in good form througout the summer.

Game two of the three match series is in Hamilton tomorrow.
