Tevez set to return for Manchester City

The Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez appears set to return from self-imposed exile after apologising to the football club for his recent conduct.

Tevez hasn't played for the Premier League leaders since September after falling out with manager Roberto Mancini after refusing to warm up during a Champions League loss at Bayern Munich.

Tevez returned to Argentina soon afterwards and refused to come back to Manchester for more than three months.

He was unable to negotiate a move during the January transfer window and finally flew back to England last week.

Tevez is estimated to have lost over $18 million in wages in various disputes with the club.

He could return to the field for City's match against Blackburn Rovers this weekend.
