NZRU still working with ORU over financial losses

The New Zealand Rugby Union is continuing to work with the Otago Union over its financial problems.

Otago is continuing to lose money and earlier this month chairman Wayne Graham was reported as saying he wasn't sure if they could continue trading.

The New Zealand Union chief executive Steve Tew says their board has discussed the issue extensively, but wouldn't say if they'll prop up the Otago Union financially or if they've asked the Otago board to stand down.

Tew says they're continuing to get the facts and options in front of them.
