Fullback Maxime Medard is a serious doubt for France's Six Nations rugby game against Ireland next weekend because of a knee injury.
Medard scored a try in France's 23-17 win over Scotland at Murrayfield on Monday but was replaced in the second half.
Coach Philippe Saint-Andre says the team is awaiting the results of an MRI scan on Medard's knee before making a decision, but concedes they will have to replace the midfielder.
Saint-Andre is due to unveil his squad on Tuesday for the Ireland fixture, which takes place at the Stade de France.
