Guildford to return for Crusaders after booze ban

The All Blacks winger Zac Guildford is set to play his first match since being banned after a drinking binge in November.

The 23-year-old has been named on the bench for the Crusaders' Super Rugby match against the Highlanders on Saturday.

His inclusion, in place of Patrick Osborne, is the only change to the squad that beat the Blues in Auckland in the competition opener last Friday.

Guildford was suspended for four games by the New Zealand Rugby Union after a booze-fuelled rampage while in the Cook Islands for a friend's wedding.

Crusaders: Tom Marshall, Sean Maitland, Robbie Fruean, Ryan Crotty, Israel Dagg, Tyler Bleyendaal, Andy Ellis, Kieran Read (captain), Matt Todd, George Whitelock, Samuel Whitelock, Tom Donnelly, Ben Franks, Quentin MacDonald, Wyatt Crockett.

Reserves: Corey Flynn, Owen Franks, Luke Romano, Luke Whitelock, Willie Heinz, Zac Guildford, Adam Whitelock.
