The London Olympics organising committee chairman Sebastian Coe believes says Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man, could run 9.4 seconds over 100 metres at this year's Games.

Asked about media reports that Bolt was planning an assault on his world record of 9.58 in London, Coe said the Jamaican had the ability to tear up the laws of physics.

The twice Olympic 1,500 metres gold medallist says the sprint distances at the Games will be very competitive.

He believes it's possible that Bolt could run 9.4 but says he'll also be pushed hard by his countryman Yohan Blake and the United States Tyson Gay.
