Youngest convicted killer before courts again

New Zealand's youngest convicted killer has again been called before the courts accused of breaching his bail.

Bailey Junior Kurariki was 12 when he took part in the killing of Auckland pizza worker Michael Choy in 2001.

He was released from jail last year under strict parole conditions. However, he allegedly breached those numerous times for suspected drug use.

His parole ended in the middle of February but he has been on bail while his breach of parole hearings are before the court.

Kurariki was picked up by police on Thursday and appeared in Auckland District Court on Friday charged with breaching that bail.

He was remanded at large to appear in Manukau District Court on 20 March.
