Gang leader charged over fatal airport brawl

An Australian gang leader has been charged with affray over the fatal brawl at Sydney airport two weeks ago.

The national president of the Comanchero bikie gang, Mick Hawi, presented himself to police for questioning on Monday morning, after police raided his Bexley home last Thursday while he was not there.

He was wanted for questioning over a brawl at Sydney airport two weeks ago when a 29-year-old Hell's Angels associate was beaten to death.

Hawi appeared in Sydney's Central Local Court for his bail application but the magistrate adjourned the hearing till Tuesday.
