Anzac Day dawn service in London at Hyde Park Corner

11:18 am on 19 April 2009

The Anzac Day dawn service in London will be held at the Australian war memorial at Hyde Park Corner on Saturday.

New Zealand High Commissioner Derek Leask says the service attracts people of all ages and nationalities.

The Australian and New Zealand war memorials are diagonally opposite each other at Hyde Park Corner and the dawn service alternates between the two.

Wreath-laying is held each year at both.

A wreath-laying parade and ceremony will also be held at the Cenotaph on Whitehall before a service at Westminster Abbey.
