Christchurch police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the discovery of two bodies in a house in the suburb of Phillipstown on Friday night.
The bodies of Tala Seleni, 55, and 32-year-old Melissa Nina Adcock were discovered at an Olliviers Rd house.
Police say they were called to the property by a neighbour who was concerned that the occupants had not been seen for several days.
Post-mortems were carried out on Saturday and police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
