Woman pleads guilty to drug importation

A woman has admitted her involvement with an alleged operation to import methamphetamine.

Monica Jane Klokstad, 43, pleaded guilty at the High Court in Wellington on Friday to three charges of importing a Class A controlled drug and one charge of conspiracy to import the drug.

The charges relate to four separate importations between November 2006 and May 2007.

Ms Klokstad was remanded on bail to reappear for sentence next month.
