Zespri's growing export trade to China has been recognised with an award.
The Kiwifruit marketer has received the "best logistics strategy" award from the New Zealand China Trade Association.
Zespri's logistics strategy includes New Zealand kiwifruit growers, packhouses and coolstores, shipping and transport companies and a network of wholesale and retail distribution outlets in China.
Its corporate and grower services director, Carol Ward, says the strategy has contributed to a significant increase in the trade to China.
