The New Zealand share maket was up 4 points, or 0.1%, at the close to 2775 on turnover of $70 million on Monday.
Top stocks were mixed. Telecom was up 9 cents to $2.74 and Contact Energy rose 10c to $5.75. Fletcher Building fell 2c to $6.38.
The Australian share market closed slightly lower, with directionless trade ahead of the financial year end.
At the the close of trading, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 was 16.9 points, or 0.43%, lower at 3886.9 and the broader All Ordinaries lost 16.8 points, or 0.43%, to 3882.7.
