The New Zealand share market gained 10 points, or 0.34%, to close at 3091 on Wednesday on turnover of $58 million.
Shares in top stocks all gained. Telecom was up 3 cents to $2.77, Fletcher Building rose 3c to $7.85, while Contact Energy jumped 12c to $6.45.
Sky City Entertainment was down 1c to $3.34.
Tourism Holdings fell 2c to 54c after its full-year profit fell 80% to $2.9 million.
New Zealand Oil and Gas was down 1c to $1.64 after its full-year profit fell 45% to $53.2 million.
New Zealand Farming Systems Uruguay was up 1c to 46c after it reported a loss of $15.6 million for the year to June.
