An armed man has robbed a security van delivering money to a Westpac bank in Papatoetoe, South Auckland.
Police say a security officer was unloading bags of cash from the van at the branch on the corner of Great South Rd and Charles St when he was confronted by a man with a gun.
They say the man fled the scene in a stolen vehicle with a unknown amount of money.
