No action against MP over lack of motorbike helmet

Police say no action will be taken against Maori Party MP Hone Harawira for riding a motorbike without a helmet.
Mr Harawira was shown in a television news item riding on Parliament's forecourt without a crash helmet.
Afterwards, two people laid separate complaints with the police.
In a statement, Inspector Peter Cowan says that after careful consideration of all of the issues, including public interest, the matter will not proceed any further.
