NZ film wins Flickerfest festival

A film set in 1970s New Zealand, which follows a young boy living in an imaginary superhero world, has been named best film at the 2010 Flickerfest festival in Australia.

The $6.50 Man, written and directed by Mark Albiston and Louis Sutherland, won the $5000 prize, beating competitors from around the world.
