MediaWorks New Zealand has had a change of heart over its management structure.
Following the departure of Brent Impey last year, the role of chief executive was split between its television and radio arms.
But the owner of TV3 and radio stations like the Rock, now says MediaWorks Radio chief executive Sussan Turner will become managing director of the group.
Her position as head of the radio division will be taken by Belinda Mulgrew.
Meanwhile, former TVNZ executive Jason Paris will run TV3 and C4 from June, taking over from Ian Audsley.
Mr Audsley will continue as executive director of TV until June, when he will become a non-executive director.
