Police investigating the disappearance of Christchurch woman Emma Campbell believe she is dead.
Ms Campbell, 29, went missing almost three months ago. Her car was found off Dyers Road in the Port Hills on 1 May.
An extensive search of the area has uncovered few clues to her whereabouts. Police have spoken to about 180 people during the investigation.
Inquiry head Detective Senior Sergeant John Rae says there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her probable death.
Mr Rae says her body is probably somewhere in a Port Hills area inaccessible to searchers.
