The All Blacks have dropped a ban imposed after a photographer took images of the team's game plans before a Bledisloe Cup Test match in Melbourne last weekend Melbourne.

The decision comes after the Getty Images agency and All Blacks management met in Christchurch on Tuesday.

Photographer Scott Barbour had been freelancing for Getty, the rugby union's official photo agency, and the image was printed in newspapers in Australia and New Zealand.

In a statement, the New Zealand Rugby Union says Getty Images has acknowledged the sensitive nature of the information and regrets the disruption it caused.
