Radio Ngati Porou on the East Coast of the North Island has turned 25.
It is New Zealand's second oldest Maori radio station after Wellington's Te Reo Irirangi o Te Upoko o Te Ika, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in May this year.
Te Reo Irirangi o Ngati Porou, based in Ruatoria, marked the milestone by hosting a community event at the weekend.
The station was established in 1987.
