Lawyer and Treaty activist Annette Sykes has confirmed that she and John Minto have accepted leadership roles in the Mana Party.
Ms Sykes addressed Mana supporters at Parliament on Thursday for the return of Hone Harawira as MP for Te Tai Tokerau.
She said she would represent Maori supporters of Mana while Mr Minto would take care of pakeha members.
Ms Sykes did not say if the two would stand for election under the Mana banner in Novemeber.
But she said Mana was lucky to have Mr Minto on board. She also praised Mr Harawira and strategist Matt McCarten.
