The Mana Party says Maori people should be entitled to national superannuation at the age of 60 and everyone else at 65.
The current agefor receiving the state pension is 65 but the Labour Party is proposing to raise that to 67 by 2033.
Mana leader Hone Harawira says it would be fair to lower the age for tangata whenua because on average Maori die considerably younger than other nationalities do.
He says statistics show that 19 out of every 20 Maori will pay tax all their lives and then die before getting a pension.
Mr Harawira says Labour's policy will make that even worse and ensure that even fewer Maori will get a pension.
The Maori Party has always advocated lowering the age of entitlement to 60 for people with a shorter than average life expectancy.
